Programs Coordinator

Description

The Programs Coordinator is responsible for curating, organizing, and overseeing a diverse & engaging program lineup of classes, workshops, & community groups that align with Womanspace’s mission. This role involves collaborating with instructors, artists, & facilitators to create engaging & enriching opportunities while ensuring smooth program logistics and meaningful experiences for participants at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse range of classes, workshops, arts programs, and assist in planning special events and retreats.

  • Recruit, schedule, and support instructors, facilitators, and artists, ensuring high-quality, mission-aligned programming.

  • Manage all program logistics, including scheduling, monitoring registration, venue/classroom setup, and presenter payments.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Social Media Team to promote programs, including contributing to the weekly newsletter.

  • Develop and maintain community partnerships to expand and enrich program offerings.

  • Collect and analyze participant feedback and program data to support continuous improvement and planning.

  • Implement strategies to enhance participant experience and engagement across all programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in program coordination, arts administration, education, or event planning.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and attend to detail.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Knowledge of creative and wellness disciplines.

  • Proficiency in technology tools including: including Google Workspace Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Canva.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Enthusiasm for creative expression, discovery, connection and community engagement.

Time Commitment/ Hours 
Flexible part-time position at 15–20 hours/week

Compensation 
Negotiable wage between $17-22/hour

Supervision  
Reports to the Executive Director
